If you are settling your Card Account statement in US $, please be advised that only notes with 2009 Series and above will be accepted.

1. In person

You can pay in person at any the American Express office in Salhiya Complex or at Gulf Bank branches offices in Kuwait, using any of the following methods:

2. Online Payment

You can settle your monthly bill by logging on to our Online Services here and following the simple steps to make the payment with your ATM Card (Knet) issued from one of the following local banks in Kuwait:

  • National Bank of Kuwait (NBK)
  • Gulf Bank (GB)
  • Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK)
  • Bank of Kuwait and Middle East (BKME)
  • AlAhli Bank of Kuwait (ABK)
  • Burgan Bank
  • Boubyan Bank
  • Kuwait International Bank
  • Kuwait Finance house
  • Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait

Please follow the below steps to make the payment online:

1.Click on www.americanexpress.com.kw
2.Click on (Online Services Login) on the left side panel of the screen
3.If you are already registered log on with your details. If you are not currently registered, please do so by creating a (Username and Password) and following the steps to register your Card.
4.Click on "Pay Your Bill Online" and select the registered American Express Card for which you wish to make the payment for.
5.Please select the amount you wish to pay.
*Please note the minimum amount is US$ 15.
6.After selecting the amount, select the (Knet logo) and click continue.
The system will take you directly to the partner web page for the final payment step.
7.Enter your ATM card number (Knet card)., expiry date and your ATM PIN number and click "Pay Now".
8.Ensure the information is correct and click "Confirm" to proceed with the payment.
9.You will receive a confirmation/reference number as a record of payment. Print a copy of this page to keep for your records.
10.Log Out.

3. Direct Debit

Direct Debit is available only for Credit Cardmembers through the following banks in Kuwait:

  • National Bank of Kuwait (NBK)
  • Gulf Bank (GB)
  • Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK)
  • Ahli United Bank (AUB) 
  • AlAhli Bank of Kuwait (ABK)


If you have a Credit Card:
You must complete a Direct Debit Mandate Form provided by American Express; and have it signed by your Bank. This service is available for Credit Cards through the above participating banks; provided you set up the option with your bank to pay either the minimum 5% of your outstanding balance each month or the full outstanding balance.

*Important: You need to ensure that sufficient funds are available in your bank account on the 27th/28th of every month to avoid rejected payments and late payment fees.

4. By Post

Send us a cheque (along with the Payment Slip at the bottom of your Card Statement). Remember to write your Account Number on the front of your cheque and please allow 14 working days for payment to reach us. Send your cheque to:

  • Do not send cash
  • Please write your Account Number and address on the front of all cheque
  • Do not post date your check. It will be deposited upon receipt
  • Please prepare one cheque per account
  • Do not staple, clip or tape your cheque to the envelope
  • Insert payment in a stamped standard envelope

5. By Wire Transfer

Please call the number on the back of your Card and one of our 24/7 Customer Services Agents will assist you with the necessary bank account information for paying through a wire transfer.
